Visitors

Keep it Kailua welcomes tourists to our residential community and we hope visitors have a wonderful experience while visiting our restaurants, stores, beaches and parks. We do ask visitors to be respectful of our laws and the desires of our community to retain its residential character and preserve residential housing for residents of our community.

Please stay in only legal visitor accommodations. There are numerous legal hotels, vacation rentals and B&B lodges scattered through the Island of Oahu. Kailua is only a 30 minute drive from most accommodations.

All visitor accommodations in resort-zone districts are legal.

Visitors can confirm if a vacation rental or B&B lodge located in residential zoning is legal by reviewing the City and County of Honolulu NUC report (press on link below)
